My Thoughts on Paulson

Of course the current crisis is unfathomable. Paulson is our guide. But thoughts keep creeping into my head that he has been "Bengalized" as we say in Cincinnati. Bengalized in this instance means Bengalized by the neocons who are in the head of President Bush.

So why couldn't Paulson be as tough on the banks and their executives as Gordon Brown was in England? After all, those people have violated about the highest trust there can be in a capitalist society.

* Every coach who comes to take over the Bengals eventually is undercut by owner Mike Brown who is incompetent as a GM and the losing attitude takes hold.
