For all my topics, this one is spot-on for my interests. Coal-fired utilities and the costs to clean up the pollution.
In the following article today Friedman puts it all together. And, in this bold period when even GM is forced by Obama and his very good people to change, it is crystal-clear now that one must sell all one's coal-fired utility stocks. The costs of pollution-control is astronomical and the companies such as AEP will be forced to give up the good fight. Remember when Cincinnati Gas & Electric stock went to $9 over Zimmer. Well, we're about to see those times again:
