Sent to Kristof of the New York Times:

The most frightening thing:

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/05/opinion/05kristof.html

And I added this comment for Kristoff:

"And you should read the excellent piece on this very topic in Carlos Celdran’s http://www.walkmyway.com/. (I think that’s the URL. You’ll get it right in any event it by typing in “Carlos Celdran” in Google.) This blog refers to and shows the wonderful BBC video on the out-of-control population explosion in Catholic Manila and Philippines. Interviewing an intelligent 30-year old woman with eleven children living in two “rooms.”
Carlos, who graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design, is a celebrity in his country with “acting” tours of the key spots of Manila and Corregidor, will be coming to Toronto in May for an art exchange of a type, and to refresh from his grueling “real-live” daily performances walking around Manila.
In fact Carlos would be worth an article. You’ll see."
